Merboston is an energetic, goofy merdog who is sure to make you smile. Merboston is either going a million miles an hour OR taking a nap in the sunshine. There’s really no middle ground, and we’re okay with that! Just look at that adorable squishy face!

Merboston measures 10" tall, is made with soft Minky fabric, and features embroidered eyes and scales. Merboston exists thanks to the amazing backers of the Merboston Plush Kickstarter! This is a limited edition designer doll; I worked with my plush manufacturer to create a small batch of professionally made Merboston dolls, so once they're all adopted no more will be made. 

Merpug, Mercorgi, and Merboston were created in 2013 by Jackie Ashley of Norfolk, VA. After making yetis and bigfoots, Jackie wanted to continue making cute cryptid plush. Mermaids seemed like the obvious next choice, but she wanted to change it up! She created the Norfolk Merdogs line in 2013. It was inspired by her love for dogs and influenced by seeing the City of Norfolk mascot sculptures everywhere, which just so happens to be a mermaid.
